Good news from exhibition and many achievements in golden autumn. On September 6, while the ninth China-Northeast Asia Expo is being held , signing ceremony for project of cooperative development of millions tons of high and mid end mineral water between our city and Evergrande Group was held in Changchun City.
Mayor Peng Yonglin, member of municipal party committee and vice mayor Chen Yaohui, leaders from Evergrande Group and Evergrande Mineral Water Group, and head of municipal bureau of commerce, organization for economic cooperation and development, Jingyu County and Fusong County, attended the signing ceremony.
Our city is rich in high quality mineral water; together with the Alps, the North Caucasus District, we are ranked as three major enriched lands of natural mineral water, and is named by international foundation for protection of drinking water resources as “International Mineral Water Town of Changbai Mountain, China”. Currently, over 130 water sources of mineral water have been discovered, with daily inflow volume amounting to 230, 000 cubic meters, and annual maximum allowable exploitation amount quantity is 84 million tons, whose potential economic value is more than 100 billion yuan, having the only drinking water quality supervision and inspection center in China and national geological park of volcanic mineral spring group. Diversified and high quality mineral water resource has attracted such leading enterprises as NongFu Spring, Wahaha, Master Kong and Tasly.
Evergrande Group is an extra large group mainly based on the housing industry, and it features commerce, hotel, sports and cultural industry, having over 200 large projects in more than 130 major cities of China, covering multiple product series, which include housing, commerce, hotel, tourism complex, and so on, and being the leading enterprise of real estate whose national sales area, amount of construction in progress and number of involved provincial cities are largest, and whose urban layout is widest. In 2012, company’s total asset is 238.99 billion yuan, having more than 37.6 thousand staff, and the brand value amounts to 24.86 million yuan.
Our city steadily adheres to branding, higher level, total amount expansion and resource-controlling, continuously strengthening negotiation and cooperation with strategic investors from home and abroad, vigorously developing high and mid end series product and enhance the protection of mineral water source, so as to realize sustained usage of resource. Through communication, friendly negotiation, docking discussion between multiple parties, Evergrande Group decides to invest 10 billion yuan into the development of million tons of high-and mid end mineral water project.
During the period of the ninth China-Northeast Expo, with friends from different countries and who are from all walks of life, we’ve exchanged sentiment of friendship, jointly discussed cooperation, seek common development, and drawn the beautiful blueprint of economic development in Northeast Asia. In terms of this expo, our city seized the opportunity, planned in advance, took the initiative and a positive attitude, and where fruitful achievements of economic and trade cooperation were made: 26 cooperative projects signed the agreement, with total investment amounting to 26.21 billion yuan.
